A trip to Westminster Abbey
On Friday 26th January, a group of Year 10 and 11 Religious Studies students visited both Westminster Abbey and the National Gallery as a part of their GCSE studies.
The students experienced a tour of the abbey, which gave the students an opportunity to explore Christian symbolism and the role of the church. They then visited the National Gallery for a very interesting tour about religion in art. The students reported that the visit was very informative, and that both Westminster Abbey and the National Gallery had provided them with a fascinating insight into the areas that they are studying.
