Our Commitment to You
We pride ourselves on forging and maintaining good relationships with all our parents and recognise the importance of working in partnership to ensure that students receive the best possible support and guidance throughout their time at St Clement Danes. In 2011, Ofsted stated that
the school’s engagement with parents and carers is outstanding
and we regularly check, through regular surveys, that parents feel this is still the case.
Communication from the school to parents takes a number of forms; our principal mode of communicating is via our Schoolcomms broadcast email system, but we also use the website and our Twitter feed to communicate up to date news. We meet with parents at one Parents’ Evening and one Information Evening each year and information about students' attitude to learning and academic progress is communicated online at least twice. We encourage parents to maintain contact with us at other times via their child’s Form Tutor, or, when appropriate, via Heads of Faculty, the relevant Pastoral Leader or, in case of a serious concern, a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Details of these members of staff can be found here. The usual method of communicating is via telephone; parents can ring the main school number and a member of the reception team will direct your call to the appropriate member of staff or their voicemail.
We hope that you will find the information you require on the pages of this website, but if there is other information you would like to see here, please do let us know.
