Student Awarded Place at The Royal Academy of Music

We are extremely proud of our Year 9 student, Ellen G, in having been awarded a place at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music this coming September.

Ellen has been playing the double bass for the past three years and has been involved in a variety of local music ensembles. She is currently a member of the Hertfordshire Schools Symphony Orchestra with whom she took part in the Hertfordshire Schools Gala at the Royal Albert Hall last year and has also, most recently, been involved in the National Youth Orchestra Inspire programme.

Ellen is extremely excited that in September she will join the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music to further her studies. Congratulations Ellen, we wish you all the best with your future accomplishments!

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.
