Three Rivers and Watford Sports Partnership Awards success
Talented sporting youngsters were recognised on Tuesday 21st June when the Three Rivers and Watford School Sports Partnership held their annual awards ceremony at Rickmansworth’s Watersmeet Theatre.
Year 12 student Bobbi Francis won the Outstanding Student Achievement Award at Key Stage 5 and fellow Year 12 student Matthew Clissold won the Young Official of the Year Award for Key Stages 3 - 5.
Students from the partnership’s 47 schools, their relatives, friends and teachers attended the theatre for the presentations. The awards covered 11 categories, which recognised individual and team achievements, as well as pupils who had demonstrated leadership and commitment to inspire others to get involved in sport.
The awards were presented by Britain’s most successful ever gymnast, Beth Tweddle. Both students attended the ceremony with Dr Valentine, who presented an award to a winner in another category.
Well done to Bobbi and Matthew on their success and for being recognised as such fantastic ambassadors for our school.
