This term, the Bold Voices ambassador programme was launched in school. They will be tackling issues of gender inequality and gender based violence. The students will be raising awareness as part of the 16 days of activism to end violence against women and girls United Nations campaign through assemblies, posters around school and fundraising to support a local women’s centre. We're really looking forward to the following students being involved inthe programme, Sophie D, Rosie M, Hannah D, Izzy H, Asher R and Khushi I.
Next term, representatives from Bold Voices will be coming into school to facilitate talks and workshops. These will include:
Sixth Form 'Preparing Our Teens for the Unspoken at University' - 22nd February
Year 12 Mentor Workshop - 22nd February
Year 7 & 8 ‘What is Gender Inequality? Supporting by Year 12 mentors - 23rd February
Year 9 & 10 ‘Thinking Big about Gender Inequality’ - 1st March
Parent webinar ‘Mind the Gap! Bridging tricky conversations between parents and teens’ - 1st March
