The Year 9 Girls Rounders teams were victorious at the District Rounders Tournament @ Queens School with Iris as Player of the Tournament.

The Year 9 Girls Tennis teams have competed superbly this year and have put themselves in with a chance of making the County Tennis Finals @ Queenswood on 28th June.

We have also been lucky enough to have 3 students and 1 team nominated for an Award at the Three Rivers & Watford School Sports Partnership awards. Kaitlyn M & Yolande B were nominated for KS3-5 Sports Leaders of the Year, Abi Conway for KS3 -5 Exceptional Performer and the Girls Year 8/9 Football team, the Herts County Cup champions, were Runners up in the team of the year category. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the success of sport in the partnership, including an inspirational speech from double gold-medal winning Paralympian, Danielle Brown.

Cricket:

The Year 8 Cricket team have won 2 and lost one of their District League matches, which gives them a chance of winning the District league.

The students have been amazing this season with the Year 10 Cricket team beating Parmiter’s school to win the District league. A great achievement that has included 16 different students as part of the squad - well done to all involved!

A final thank you to all our PE faculty with the effort that has gone in to giving these students the opportunity to compete at these events and to have done so well!
