Duke of Edinburgh Volunteers' Week

As part of Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) celebration of Volunteers' Week, the charity shared with us the number of hours our students have spent volunteering this year and the social value attributed to their hard work. This year, our students have collectively contributed an impressive 5,811 hours of volunteer work, which translates to a remarkable social value of £30,681. This figure is almost double compared to last year's contributions, showcasing our students’ dedication to volunteering and their continued effort to the awards programme.

Some of the outstanding examples of volunteering that our students have completed in the past include litter picking in their local communities, coaching various sports programmes for primary schools including (but not limited to) dance, football and  rugby clubs, assisting in retirement homes, girl guiding and scouts.

Our students' dedication to volunteering and making a positive impact in the local community has been truly inspiring. Congratulations to all our volunteers for their dedication and achievements. Well done to everyone involved in making our school a beacon of community service and excellence.
