Christmas Carol Concert 2019
The Christmas festivities began on Tuesday evening at St Clement Danes when the annual Carol Service took place. Guests were welcomed by the Deputy Head Girl and Boy, and the audience enjoyed a range of performances and sang carols accompanied by the orchestra. Performances included a number of solo performances and readings, and also performances from the Guitar group, Acapella Group, Cello group, Junior Choir, Year 13 Ensemble, Gospel Choir, Wind Warriors and Jazz Band. The school was delighted to welcome the Reverend Terence Russoff from Chorleywood Christ Church, who gave an address and led prayers. A collection in aid of the Sixth Form Charities was made at the end of the evening – a fitting start to Charities Week. Many thanks to all our students who participated in the concert, our Sixth Form Music prefects, the Drama Department, the peripatetic staff, administrator Ann Roxon, and last but not least, to Anna Stevens, Head of Performing Arts and Subject Leader Music for putting on yet another exceptional concert!
